What Brake Calipers Do We Regenerate? At ELERTE, we specialize in the regeneration of brake calipers for trucks, trailers and buses. We check the condition of the core for any damage, abrasions and micro-cracks. The core is marked and fed into the system, where we track the clamp at every stage of the process. We also perform X-ray to detect hidden internal defects.
We disassemble the clamp into all its components and shot-blast them. After shot-blasting, we conduct another verification of the quality of the body.
The body is powder coated and baked in the oven, which protects it against corrosion.
We install the caliper, replacing the parts with new, original or top-quality Elerte replacements that meet the technical and quality standards of the originals.
We guarantee quality at least equal to the originals from renowned manufacturers. Each caliper undergoes a leak test and braking simulations in the backup system before it goes into the box. After a positive test, each caliper receives a quality certificate, which is the basis for a 25-month warranty.
We test clamps and other repair components manufactured by Elerte in a salt chamber, simulating a year of clamp operation in atmospheric conditions over 24 hours. Each product undergoes tests and receives a quality certificate.
Our seals are resistant to stretching, tearing and temperatures up to 300°C. Nickel-plated pins are corrosion-resistant, and the high-quality hydrophobic grease withstands temperatures up to 300°C. We use new, galvanized screws of our own production with a hardness of 10.9.
We carry out quality control of the cores during the initial selection using X-ray.
We use an additional sealant that can withstand temperatures from -40°C to +90°C (up to 120°C for 8 hours) on the self-regulator side cover and the piston cover.
